• 1. Wari Chora is very offbeat destination and it has very few accommodation available out there , hence you cannot expect proper stay and food. But we will accommodated you in a decent place with clean toilet and basic foods.
• 2. From Emangree village to Wari Chora is appx 06 KMS and completely off road, hence we will be using only Bolero Pick-Up Vehicle.
• 3. From Entry point to Wari Chora is appx 1.5 KM down and stiff trails, kindly be equipped yourself with proper trekking shoes and water bottles.

Wari Chora is a small village situated in the Meghalayan Garo hills surrounded by lush green forests.
As a local guide from the region explained: Wari of Wari Chora means a deep river or a depression in the river.
Garo hills are home to the Garo tribe, which is known for its unique culture and tradition. They have a rich history and deep connection with the land and their way of life revolves around nature.
Garos, who locally call themselves A.chik are known for their skill in hunting and their traditional knowledge of the medicinal properties of plants.

• Nakama Cave and Jadesil Fish Sanctuary.
• Later we will also visit Siju Cave, also known as Bat Cave in English, is located in Simsang River game reserve. It is a limestone cave and is famous for its stalagmites and stalactites.
• Visiting Siju Cave is like entering the belly of the earth, a place of unique visuals and formations that will capture anyone’s imagination.
• Post to that we proceed to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station.

• Package Confirmation & Booking can be made against the payment 50% of the total amount and the Balance amount need to be paid 05 days before tour start.
• Payment can be done by bank transfer/UPI towards the account of mentioned the confirmation mail.

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

• 60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost
• 45 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour / service cost
• 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost
• 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost

Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.

For all complaints, suits, claims or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by Meghalaya roots, will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of Meghalaya.
